Welcome

Building models is my passion, whether it be computer generated or hand-built models (my favorite). The sweat, and sometimes blood, that goes into putting a model together just excites me. And then looking at that final project, in front of me on the table, it’s rewarding to say the least. Looking back at all of the models I built in school, I can see the progress I’ve made from one project to the next. That’s what makes me want to keep building. I want to learn more techniques and refine my skills. I want to keep the progress going, so I can look back and see how far I’ve come and really be proud of myself.

As a recent college graduate coming into the professional working world, our current economic situation has been making job hunting rather discouraging. But, with it being a new year and all, my resolution is to be more determined and goal oriented than ever. In school it was so easy to be motivated, to put my heart and soul into a project because the passion was there; all I wanted was to have something worth adding to my portfolio, something to be proud of. Out here in the real world, it’s been harder to keep motivated because I don’t have a project in front of me all the time. But, starting now, I resolve to create projects for myself, to set goals in order to keep my mind in the right direction.
